Last month I’d never heard of or tried a nut roast, it’s now an absolute staple in my fridge. The closest thing I can compare it to – in terms of texture and deliciousness – is a pork pie. Maybe a cross between a pork pie and a scott egg. It’s so satsifying & packed full of flavour that it’s easy to inhale the full thing when you get home hungry.
As well as containing no meat or dairy, it’s also organic & free from gluten & wheat. On top of that, it’s a decent source of protein @ 7.1g/serving.
(You can eat it hot or cold. I haven’t yet eaten it as part of a meal, just enjoyed it thoroughly as a snack, cold)
